Kevin Wayne Hemphill

MILLSBORO – Kevin Wayne Hemphill passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Kevin was born in Milford, son of the late William W. II and Dawn (Dubois) Hemphill. Kevin attended Sussex Central High School and worked as a laborer in the construction industry. His favorite pastime was fishing, but he also had a knack for working on and fixing anything mechanical. In addition to his parents, Kevin is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, William W. Hemphill and Louise Gannon, and maternal grandparents, Richard Dubois and Georgia Leslie. He is survived by his fiancé Kristin Stephenson; paternal grandfather, Robert Gannon; four siblings, William Cammel, Asa Flemming, Tami Flemming-Mears and Destyni Dubois-Church; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 6:30pm on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, Del.
