Lauren Michelle Amodei

Millsboro -- Lauren Michelle Amodei, 62, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Lauren was born the daughter of the late David B. (Marlena) Farrer.

Lauren was a nurse for several years before becoming disabled. She enjoyed going to the beach, gardening, her two Yorkies: Pebbles and Bam Bam, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Amodei Jr.

She is survived by her children, Caitlin Amodei of Lewes, Nicholas Amodei of Millsboro, and Brittney Amodei of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Jackson, Declan, Lilliana, Juliana and Leo.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE. A time of visitation will begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow immediately at Henlopen Memorial Park in Milton, DE.
