Louis Joseph "Lou" Sensi

GEORGETOWN – Louis Joseph “Lou” Sensi passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. Lou was born on June 24, 1943 in Ashland, West Virginia and spent his formative years growing up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Upon graduating from Cardinal Dougherty High School in 1961, he attended hairdresser school, eventually opening several shops of his own. He then married and moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland where he raised his children and became well known for his successful career in the poultry brokerage business. In 1992, he married Janice Christ and built a home in Georgetown where they resided with their numerous cats, dogs and horses. Lou was a kind-hearted man with a great sense of humor. Lou could often be found golfing at the Rookery with his friends and son. He loved to feed people and was almost never seen without his trademark cigar. He will be remembered with love and sorely missed by all who knew him. Lou is preceded in death by his parents, John and Edith (Rotondi) Sensi, and his sister, Elsie Smith. He is survived by his wife Janice; a son, John Sensi and wife Christa; a daughter, Rachel Booth and husband Eric; and one grandson, Mason Booth. Arrangements will be private.
