Luzvimin "Ben" Cristobal Corpus passed away peacefully at Bayhealth Sussex General Hospital on Sunday, September 15, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
Luzvimin was born in Dagupan, Pangasinan, Philippines to the late Fortunato and Quirina (Cristobal) Corpus. He was retired from the US Department of Agriculture and was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Milford. He also was a retired Chief Petty Officer with the U.S. Navy. He served 21 years with the Navy and was a plank owner of the USS John F. Kennedy. He loved his country and was very patriotic. He loved to fish at Cape Henlopen pier and tending to his garden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Isabelita Corpus, and siblings Ernesto Corpus, George Corpus and Libertad Corpus.
Luzvimin is survived by his two children, Racquel Corpus and Allan (Holly) Corpus and three grandchildren, Patrick Corpus, Brendan Corpus and Jaden Madson and his brother, Jun Templo.
A gravesite service will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Henlopen Memorial Park in Milton, Delaware. The service will begin at 12:00 noon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Navy Marine Corps Relief Society. Arrangements in the care of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
