Magdalis Gonzalez, 66, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 15, 2022. Magdalis was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico to the late Horacio Gonzalez and Teresa Colon. She worked at Perdue in Milford for 24 years and had previously worked for the Naval Aviation Yard in Philadelphia. She was a seamstress and baker, and she had a passion for gardening. She especially loved spending time with her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Gilgreen Gonzalez. She will be laid to rest next to Gilgreen. She is survived by her husband, Robert Rodriguez; children, Zaira Davis (Brian), Ismael Torres, Jr. (Heather), Abigmael Torres, Sr. (Tina), Maria Teresa Bliss (Robert), and Abigmael Torres, Jr.; 12 siblings; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 11 am in the chapel of Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Rd., Georgetown, DE 19947, where friends may call after 10 am. Interment will follow at Milford Community Cemetery.
