Margaret C. Davis

Margaret C. Davis, age 99, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 in Georgetown at the home of her grandson, surrounded by her family. Margaret was born in Galva, IL. She worked as the Worchester County Treasurer for many years. She was an avid gardener and served as President for several Maryland garden clubs. She was an active member of the Whatcoat United Methodist Church, Snow Hill, MD. She served on many committees and was involved in a variety of church activities over the years. In addition to her parent, she was preceded in death by her Husband and one sister. She is survived by two daughters; Sandra and Gordon Mariner of Georgetown and Jonna and Milton Zane of Hawaii; 1 sister, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, Delaware where friends may call at 12:00 noon. Interment will be at Whatcoat U. M. Cemetery, Snow Hill, MD. As required by revised mandates during the pandemic, masks will be required for the health and safety of the family and those in attendance.
