Margaret M. Clauser

Margaret M. Clauser, 97, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully at home on January 20, 2024.

Margaret was born October 9, 1926, to Angela and Henry Solich in Kansas City, Missouri and later grew up in West New York, New Jersey.

In 1948 she married the love of her life, Joseph Clauser and moved to Georgetown, Delaware.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. Clauser; and her beloved border collie, Babe.

Margaret as everyone knew, her had 2 children, Angela Townsend (Clayton), with whom she lived with, and Ronnie Clauser (Kathryn); 3 grandchildren, Nicholas Lank (Dottie), Aaron Townsend (Rebecca), and Sarah Jester (Seth); 6 great grandchildren, Axl, Ella, Austin, Addison, Florence, and Henry; sister-in-law, Maria Clatch (Hilary); niece, Lisa Hill (Anthony); and nephew, James Purcell, III (Mai).

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 122 E. Pine Street, Georgetown, DE 19947 at 11:00 a.m.
