Maricruz Sanchez

MILFORD – Maricruz Sanchez, age 20, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Bayhealth. Maricruz was born in Newark, Delaware to her parents Jose Sanchez and Dulce “Candy” Silva. She was raised in Milford and attended Milford High School. In addition to her parents, Maricruz leaves behind her children, Najiem Sanchez (age 3) and Kamari Sanchez (age 8 months), her siblings, Jahyra Silva, Jose Sanchez II, and Armando Sanchez; her maternal grandparents, Irene and Ricardo Silva; her paternal grandmother, Maria Sanchez; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A funeral service, with limited seating, will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at the Philadelphia Pentecostal Holiness Church, 13724 S. Old State Road, Ellendale, Del 19941. A walk-thru visitation will be held at the church starting at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery, Clendaniel Pond Road, Lincoln, Del 19960. All attending will be required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines. Due to capacity limitations you may be asked to wait outside, please plan accordingly.
