Marjorie J Oliveira

Marjorie "Margie" Jean Oliveira, formerly of Lake Worth, FL and Bridgeville, DE went to be with our Lord peacefully on Monday, June 7, 2021. She was born in Hickory, NC on September 23, 1932, daughter of the late Theodore W. Correll of Hickory, NC and the late Elsie Weaver Hutton of Bridgeville, DE and formerly Hickory, NC. Margie moved to Delaware in her teens after living in Mt. Dora, FL. She LOVED Florida and later moved back to Florida in 1987 before poor health brought her back home to Delaware. While in Florida she did pursue a CNA career...late in life. She LOVED caring for others and helping them. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harlan L. Banning of Brigeville, DE, and her second husband, Joseph Oliviera of Lake Worth, FL.; and also her youngest son, Benjamin F. Banning; and two brothers, Bobby Correll and Charles Correll. Margie is survived by daughter, Vicki Short and husband Bob, daughter, Margie DeMott and husband Rodney, son, John Banning, daughter, Joyce Turpin and husband Jeff and a son, Michael Banning; a brother, Bruce Williamson and wife Tammy; grandchildren, Stacy O'Day, Tracey Williams, Joe Jones, Jeffrey and Jessica Turpin and Renee Jefferson; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Tabby. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 1pm at Cokesbury Cemetery, 14785 Seashore Hwy, Georgetown, DE 19947. All attending will be asked to follow masking guidance issued by the CDC for indoor and outdoor activities.
