Michael Wayne Workman

FELTON – Michael Wayne Workman passed away suddenly at home on Monday, March 28, 2022. Michael was born in Milford, Delaware son of the late Beverly “Bev” and Gloria (Gillespie) Workman. Michael was a workaholic. He was always willing to help anyone who needed him. He worked in the construction field as a laborer with Rock Bottom, and most recently was working with RC Construction. Michael loved working in the yard and going to yard sales. He loved music of any kind and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan. In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by an uncle, Donald Gillespie; and a nephew, TJ Rossi. He leaves behind a daughter, Ashley Workman; his fiancé, Kimberly Ryall; a sister, Kathy Armstrong and husband Kenny; a brother, Timothy Workman; his dog Bella; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, April 8, 2022 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Homes, 119 NW Front Street, Milford. A time of visitation for family and friends begins at 11:00am. Burial will be held privately.
