Micheline M. Burk

Micheline M. Burk, 81, of Milford, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 4, 2024, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.

Micheline was born on April 17, 1942, in France, to the late Antoine and Yvonne Rose (Le Garrec) Souben.

Micheline moved to the US from France in the late 1960s. Her trips back to France were something she always cherished. For many years, she and a group of other ladies who moved from France would prepare a large French meal on July 6th. She worked at Playtex as a machine operator for many years. She loved dogs and had many canine companions throughout her life. She participated in the Dover Airforce Base Bowling Leagues.

In addition to her parents, Micheline was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul and Yvon Souben.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Carine Lankford (Mike), Pamela Ross (Matthew), and Patrick Burk (Joanna); her lifetime partner of 27 years, James E. Sinclair; her grandchildren, Ryan Graham, Shane Graham, Taylor Turner, Seth Burk, and Grace Turner; her great grandchildren, Sophia Graham, Kylo Singleton, and Kinsley Graham; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members in France.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 1:00pm at Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front St., Milford, DE 19963. Interment will be private.
