Nancy H. Lohrfink

May 8, 1941 — December 8, 2021

SERVICE INFORMATION HAS BEEN CHANGED: Nancy Henderson Lohrfink passed away suddenly on December 8, 2021. This warm-hearted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt always had a big smile and a kind word for everyone. She loved to work in her garden; collect antiques; sit on the porch with her beloved husband, Buzz, and watch the birds and deer in her backyard; snuggle with her dog, Oliver; and talk and laugh with friends and family. The world’s loss is Heaven’s gain. Born on May 8, 1941, in Salisbury, MD, to Margaret Long Henderson and Ralph Henderson, Nancy graduated from Wicomico High School. A longtime resident of Laurel, DE, she was a valued bookkeeper – and devoted friend – to the late Dr. Vincent Killeen of Bayside Health Association in Lewes until her retirement. Nancy is survived by her husband of 42 years, Louis “Buzz” Lohrfink III; sister, Patricia Jones (Martha) of Newport News, VA; and brothers Thomas Henderson (Bobbi) and Michael Henderson (Dee Kelley) of Salisbury, MD. She is also survived by her sons Jeffrey Lohrfink (Kristi) of Yorktown, VA, and Louis “Buddy” Lohrfink IV (Debbie) of Milford, DE; grandchildren Haley Edwards, Bethany Jump, Karleigh Lohrfink, Jason Lohrfink, Riley Bratcher, Megan Lohrfink, Jeremy Lohrfink and Chandler Lohrfink; great-grandchild, Weston Lohrfink; sisters-in-law Sandra Clark and Melissa Tyler; daughter-in-law Shawna McNamara; and many adoring nieces and nephews. UPDATE: Family and friends may call at Buzz and Nancy's visitation May 13 from 10:30-11:30 am in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E.
