Nancy L. Webb, 82,

May 14, 1941 – January 6, 2024,

Nancy L. Webb passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on January 6, 2024. Nancy’s family was the most important thing in her life. She was a member of the Ellendale United Methodist Church and a former member of the Ellendale Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.

Nancy was the manager of the Ellendale School cafeteria until it closed. She also worked at I. C. Isaacs in Milford (Sussex Co.), where she retired after 32 years.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; Ernest and Margie Smith of Milford, DE; husband, Gerald L. Webb, Sr. “Webbie” of Ellendale, DE; son, Ronald L. Webb “Ronnie” of Lincoln, DE; and a brother, John Smith “Jackie”.

Nancy survived by three sisters, Priscilla Rogers (Danny) of Lincoln, DE, Carol Blessing (Joel) of Milford, DE, and Louise Hastings of Milford, DE; her children: Donna Wiley of Georgetown, DE, Gerald L. Webb Jr. (Michele) of Georgetown, DE, James Webb of Lincoln, DE, Kimberly Hughes (Steve) of Ellendale, DE and Donna (Todd) Webb of Lincoln, DE; grandchildren: Shane Wiley, April Wynn (John), Staci Dutton (Eric), Zackery Webb (Cy), Jessica Webb (Austin), Steven Hughes, Jr. “J”, Steven Johnson, Jr. “SJ”, David Webb and bonus grandchildren: Paige Howell, Brittany Hines (Wally), Robert Foster (Rachel), Todd Littleton, David Littleton; and 14 great grandchildren: Jacob, Shyann, Andrew, Paige, Payton, Parker, Olivia, Reagan, Skylar, Raelynn, Connor, Austin, Jackson and Maddie.

Per Nancy’s wishes, all services will be private. In lieu of flowers and such, Nancy wanted donations made to the Ellendale Cemetery. Her children ask that it be in her memory. Donations can be sent to Ellendale Cemetery Fund, 16934 Staytonville Road, Lincoln, DE 19960.
