Orleen W. Lofland

Orleen W. Lofland, 60, of Millsboro passed away peacefully at TidalHealth Nanticoke on Monday, February 14, 2022. Orleen was born in Seaford to the late John O. and Helen L. (Berry) White on November 20, 1961. She was a cafeteria manager for Long Neck Elementary and a member of the Gumboro Ladies Auxiliary. She also attended church at Bayshore Community Church and Joshua House, both in Gumboro. Orleen loved to decorate her house for the seasons and absolutely loved her grandkids. Orleen was a family oriented and personable person. She was an awesome wife, and a wonderful mother, MiMi, and friend. She as the happiest when the family was together. She is survived by her husband, Timmy Lofland; son, Joshua Lofland; daughter, Lynsey Mears and her husband, Tyler; brother, Oran J. White and his wife, Cindy; and her grandchildren, Brystal, Beau, and Brysen Mears. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date with the immediate family. Arrangements in the care of Short Funeral Services, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Gumboro Volunteer Fire Company and Ladies Auxiliary, 37030 Millsboro Hwy. Millsboro, DE 19966.
