HOUSTON – Paige A. Lynch passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.
Paige was born and raised in Milford and had a lifelong career of 42 years with George and Lynch, Inc. where he worked his way through the company to ultimately being Equipment Superintendent.
He was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting, duck hunting and offshore fishing. He competed for several years in the prestigious White Marlin Open with family and friends. He was a dirt track enthusiast and was instrumental in reviving Middleford Speedway; which he managed afterward for two years. Paige and his family managed Lynch Motorsports from 1998-2012 where he supported his son Jeremy in his racing endeavors. They traveled to various tracks in Delaware and Pennsylvania and won several track championships within both states. He was always happy to offer his mechanical and engine expertise to anyone who needed a helping hand, even those who were competitors.
Paige was a true friend and was loved by many, especially his family. He was a devoted and supportive husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and cousin. Paige never met a stranger and was always ready with a huge smile to greet you. His most adored title was “Pop-pop” he loved spending time with Jayce and Jeslyn and loved that they both were excited to be on the water as much as he did.
Paige is preceded in death by his father, Paynter A. Lynch; father-in-law, William “Bill” Jackson; a half-brother, James “Jimmy” Lynch, Sr., and his nephew, James “Jimbo” Lynch, Jr.
Paige is survived by his wife, Crystal (Jackson) Lynch of 42 years; a son, Jeremy Lynch and wife Jessica; his mother, Joyce (Ingram) Lynch; three grandchildren, Jayce Lynch, Jeslyn Lynch, and baby Lynch due to arrive in January; a brother, Tad Lynch and wife Susan; a nephew, Zachary Lynch; mother-in-law Ginger Jackson; sisters-in-law Wanda Richardson (Ed); Tanja Payton (Tom); brother-in-law Scott Jackson (Amy); half-sisters, Dawn Lynch Petterson and Debbie Lynch Papaioanu; half sister-in-law Terri Lynch, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, along with extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Paige’s Life has been scheduled for Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Noon at Avenue UM Church, 20 Church Street, Milford, De 19968. The family will greet friends beginning at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers the family welcomes memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, Del 19963.
