Patricia Ann Jones

Patricia A. Jones, 81, passed away peacefully on April 10th, 2024, at her home in Milton, surrounded by her family.

Originally from Mt. Holly, NJ, Pat moved to Milton, DE with her family from 1976-1983, then moved with her family to Chestertown, MD, where she worked at Kent & Queen Anne’s Hospital for 15 years. In 1998, she retired with her husband, and they moved back to Milton, DE.

Pat was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Her life was defined by love, kindness, and unwavering support for those around her. She found joy in boating, gardening, happy hour, and crafting lasting memories with loved ones. These memories will forever resonate in the hearts of those privileged to have known her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Wolfe, and her sister, Rita Wolfe Brown.

Pat is survived by her husband, Daniel B. Jones, of 58 years, two children, Jacquelyn Jones Keating (spouse Tom) and son, Daniel B. Jones, Jr. (spouse Tricia), 5 grandchildren, Olivia, Emma, Owen, Daniel III, Natalie, 4 sisters, Linda, Barbara, Libby, and Monica, and 3 brothers, Tom, Larry, and Bobby, sister-in-law, Lois, and her husband, Bo, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held on Saturday, April 20th, 2024 with visitation from 1-2pm, and the service to follow at 2pm at Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St, in Georgetown, DE 19947. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Delaware Hospice in her honor.
