Paul D. Spence

FREDERICA DE- Paul D. Spence passed away unexpectedly at Christiana Hospital on Sunday, February 5, 2023.

He was born in Harrington DE, on April 19, 1969, and later moved to Frederica at an early age. He was a 1987 graduate of Lake Forest High School. At the time of his passing he was employed for over 20 years by Miller Metal Fabrication in Bridgeville, DE.

He loved hunting and fishing, but he especially hunting with his father. No matter when deer season was open Paul was there and always managed to bring home a deer. He saved vacation time for the sole purpose of bagging the big one. He also loved joining his mother and other family members at Westside restaurant to have his large serving of creamed chip beef!

He was predeceased by his father, Frank Spence. He is survived by his loving mother, Ann Spence of Frederica, DE; and his brother, Brian Spence of Blackwood, NJ.

Following the wishes of Paul there will not be any memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Paul can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/.
