Penny Hampton Turcotte

Milford--The family of Penny Hampton Turcotte of Milford, Delaware is saddened to announce her passing on August 22, 2022 at the age of 59 years. Penny was born on November 4, 1962, in Milford, Delaware to her parents Benton and Jean (Rogers) Hill. Penny graduated from Milford High School, in the Class of 1980. She was a member of the Milford Calvary Church, Milford, DE. Penny was a customer service representative for United Parcel Service (UPS), for 30 years. Penny was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Penny was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. Penny's greatest loves were her family, friends and dogs. She devoted her whole life to spoiling her children and grandchildren. She also loved spending time shopping. Penny loved traveling and cruising. She has especially passed on her love for Disney to her family. In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by a special great aunt and uncle, Mildred and Milbourne Berridge. She survived by her devoted husband, Terry Turcotte; her children, Sarah Parson (Cory), Tara Turcotte-Leyanna (Timothy), Stacie Cataldi (Ricky), Zak Taylor (April); 8 grandchildren, Katelynn, Samantha, Connor, Cameron, Aidan, Briannah, Ava and Madilyn. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her. A funeral service for friends and family will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at 1:30 pm in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front Street, Milford, DE. A time of visitation will be held between 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Interment will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington, DE. Arrangements are in the care of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford, DE.
