Richard Earl Watson, 75, of Milford, DE, passed away on October 7, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born on August 6, 1949, in Milford, DE to his parents, Samuel E. and Daisy (Bowen) Watson.

Richard graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1967. He served his county in the Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran and then attended University of DE. Richard loved farming, hunting, playing cards and walking on the family farm with his faithful dog, Cinder.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Watson; brother-in-law and friend, H. Russell “Russ” Argo.

Richard survived by his mother, Daisy (Bowen) Watson; sisters, Diane Argo and Carolyn Donovan (Robert); several nieces and nephews and special friends, Allison Haines and Jennifer Strickland.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
