Richard J. Moore, Sr.

Richard James Moore of Milton Delaware Born at Milford Memorial Hospital on December 24th 1967 and passed peacefully at home on January 11th 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles E. Moore and Joyce K Moore, a brother & Sister in law Chuck (Ruth) Moore and a neice Megan Moore.

Rich is survived by his best friend and wife Denise; his 2 sons Chris Moore (Ashley) and R.J. Moore (Ashley); 4 grandchildren,  Katelynn, Jackson, Croix and Wesson Moore. A brother Danny Moore (Judy); a sister Teet Sharp. His stepmother Donna F Moore. A Neice Madison Moore, nephews Billy Turner (kelly) and Chaz.Moore and Aunts Norlyn Ritter and Ernestine Moore, 2 cousins Hershal and Kevin Moore; 3 great nephews and a great neice.

Rich was a self employed painting contractor. He loved his family and enjoyed Nascar races, camping, hunting, fishing, and his favorite football team Washington Redskins.

Services will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025 from 11 to 1 p.m located at Short Funeral Services in Milton, Delaware. After the services, a celebration of his life will be at the VFW Post in Milton from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm where friends and family are welcome.
