Richard Lee Brady, Jr.

Richard L. Brady, Jr., 54, passed away at home surrounded by family.

Richard was a graduate of McKeesport High School. He served in the US Air Force proudly for 5 years as a Security Police Officer. He married the love of his life, Renee Webb, on May 26, 1990. He went on to work for Bayhealth as a Security Officer. He became a Correctional Officer for James T. Vaughn in Smyrna for 14 years, a job he enjoyed.

Richard is preceded in death by his father, Richard L. Brady, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Renee (Webb) Brady of Felton; son, Cory E.L. Brady of Felton; a grandson, Connor E.L. Brady, whom he adored immensely, also of Felton; mother, Gwendolyn Sheader of Felton; two sisters, Marsha and Lorrie, all of Felton; brother, Albert (Lisa) Brady of PA; nephews, Dustin and Christen; nieces, Jessica, Nicole, and Chelsea; sisters-in-law Eva W. and Elaine, both of Felton; and mother-in-law, Sharon Webb of Felton.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 12 noon in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main St., Felton, DE 19943, where friends may call after 11 am. Burial will be private.
