Richard P. Glennon

Richard P. Glennon, 88, of Georgetown passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. He was born on August 21, 1932 in New York, NY to the late Charles and Isabel (Doscher) Glennon. Originally from Middletown, PA, Richard moved to Georgetown with his wife, Patricia, where they have lived for the past 33 years. As an US Army veteran, he was involved in the Georgetown-Ellendale VFW Post 2931, as well as American Legion Post 28. He also enjoyed fishing. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Patricia R. Glennon; his daughter, Vickie Walters; his brother, Charles Glennon; and his sister, Agnes Guitard. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Patricia J. Glennon; his daughter, Coleen Politano of Canton, MA; his son, John Glennon of Bokeelia, FL; his brother, John Doscher of Brooksville, FL; his sister, Helen LiCastro of New Port Richey, FL; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. No formal services will be held.
