MILTON – Robert C. “Rob” Christmas passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes.

Rob was born in Parkersburg, IL son of the late Robert J. and Carolyn Sue (Woods) Christmas.

Rob was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was happiest spending time with his loved ones. As a new resident of Delaware, he was proud to run the family business with his husband in Fenwick Island, with such enthusiasm and drive. He was so loved and will be sincerely missed for his clever sense of humor, his jack-of-all knowledge, and selfless and warm personality.

Rob is survived by his husband David C. McLelland; four children, Sean Dillon (Courtney), Kayla Facenbaker (Kyle), Cameron McLelland (Haley) and Jayda Christmas; five grandchildren, Caiden Dillon, Cooper Dillon, Corbin Dillon, Cormac Dillon and Riley McLelland; and five siblings, Martha Lancaster, Angie Hall, Goldie Eakle, George Christmas and Holly Christmas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 10:00am-11:00am in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, Del 19968. A graveside service will immediately follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, 514 Union Street, Milton, Del 19968.
