Robert Hammond Yerkes Iii

Robert H. Yerkes, III, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023. Robbie was born August 9. 1965 in Vincenza, Italy to Robert and Janice (Sharp) Yerkes.

Rob graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1983. He was employed by the DE Division of Fish and Wildlife for 13 years as a conservationist and D&B Trucking. He was currently employed by Baltimore Air Coil. Rob was interested in antique farm machinery and helped Horace and Norma Potter with their annual Antique Farm Show for 20 years.

He is survived by his loving wife, Clara; and his parents; his 4 grandchildren; his 3 great grandchildren; as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St. Milford, DE 19963 with a viewing at 11:00 a.m. and the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Milford Community Cemetery.
