Roy F. Hutson

Felton—Roy F. Hutson, 57, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, DE.

Roy was born on April 12, 1966, in Milford, DE to his parents, the late Nolan and Jane Kathleen (Walls) Hutson. He was a Federal Tech with the Delaware National Guard. He enjoyed motorcycles, old cars and was a Nascar fan. Roy was a member of the (DKMC) Desert Knights Motorcycle Club, American Legion Post #3 and Officer of the V.F.W. Post #6483 in Milford, DE.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Hutson.

He will be dearly missed by his wife, Tammy (Geyer) Hutson; daughter, Melinda Hawkins (Michael); brother, Jack Hutson (Terri); sister Marie Vickery; and grandchildren, Michael Hawkins, and Levi Hawkins.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the Bible Believers Community Church, 201 Market Street, Frederica, DE 19946, where a time of visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00am to 12:00pm. Burial will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, DE.

In lieu of flowers the family welcomes memorial contributions in his memory to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
