Runae Bogan Green

Runae Bogan Green, 74, of Greenwood went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 12, 2024

Runae was born on August 23, 1949 in Milford, DE to the late Edward and Grace (Gordon) Bogan. She was a true Delaware native and was known throughout her community for her caring spirit, motivated work ethic, and love for those around her. Runae was a carrier for the United States Postal Service where she served the areas of Lincoln and Bridgeville. She was a member of Independent Bible Fellowship Church where she enriched many lives participating in the choir and many children’s ministries.

In addition to her parents, Runae is preceded in death by her daughter Angela Marie Green, two sisters; Mary Propes, Grace Greenlee, five brothers; Raymond Bogan, Ronnie Bogan, Johnny Bogan, Eddie Bogan Sr., and Bobby Bogan.

She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 55 years, Joseph Green; children, Anthony Aliano, Joseph Green IV, Tyna Bledsoe, Michael Green; sister Pat Andrews; grandchildren, Brennen Bledsoe, Kerrigan Bledsoe, Layla Aliano, Aubree Green, Gage Green, Margo Green; and a host of extended family.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Independent Bible Fellowship Church. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 pm at 6797 Milford Harrington Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952. In lieu of flower, the family has requested donations to the IBFC “Orphan Fund.”
