Russell E. Mccann

ELLENDALE – Russell Eugene McCann passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

Russell worked for many years as a painter and subcontractor. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his friends at the Broadkill VFW post #6984 and Moose Lodge #646.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilford R. McCann; stepfather, John “Jack” Wilson; brother, Terry R. McCann, Sr.; sister, Sally S. Glazier (wife of Bob); nephew, Terry R. “TJ” McCann, Jr. (husband of Kelly) and sister-in-law, Karen McCann.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Pauline (Yost) Wilson; a sister, Anna “Cathy” Nasino and husband Duke; caretakers, Randi Riggs and Angela Price; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

There are no formal ceremonies scheduled at this time.
