Sandra L. Stintsman

Sandra Lee Harper Cowell Stintsman of Georgetown passed away in her home May 4, 2022. Sandy was born Feb 4, 1944, daughter of the late Albert and Ethelyne Harper. She graduated from Georgetown High School in 1962 She worked for many years for Baltimore Life Insurance Company. She also worked at Air Mobile Home Parks Office for many years. Sandy then went to Sussex Tech Adult Ed to become a Health Assistant. She worked for Dr. Lemons Office for many years before retiring. Sandy was a member of Old Paths Church of Christ, and she was devoted to the Lord. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Bob Cowell, her granddaughter Heather Cowell, and her late husband Harold Stintsman. Sandy is survived by her son Richard Cowell (Diane), half-brother Jimmy Larrimore (Doris), brother Randy Harper (Pam), and sister Karen Haggerty (Bill), two step-grandchildren and their spouses, six great step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, god daughter Kady, a special friend Herbie, and so many other friends. Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Services, Georgetown. A special thank-you to her sister-in-law; Pam for all of her help and care that she gave to Sandy. Sandy will be missed by all. We love you!
