Sandra "Sandi" M. Magee

Sandra “Sandi” M. Magee, a loving, compassionate woman originally from Milton, DE gained her wings peacefully at home with her loved ones by her side. She went to be with the Lord on September 17, 2024, at the age of 64.

She was born on January 29, 1961, to George C. Willey and the late Blanche M. Tunis.

Sandi was a loving sister to the late Anthony Willey, George A. Willey, Michael L. Willey, Steven Willey and Cathy Konycki.

Survived by her cherished daughter, Kimberly Magee; and devoted son, Jonathan Magee. Sandi adored her family immensely. Her pride and joy of her life were her 5 grandchildren, Da’Vontae Copes, Malik Copes, Jaiden Dorsey, Joseph Magee and Scarlett Magee. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Kamari Coleman and the late Makoa Copes.

Sandi attended UMBC and graduated with her master’s degree in social work in 1999, and was employed by Caroline County DSS where she retired as a Licensed Social Worker in 2023.

She was a dedicated member of Cross Road Community Church, where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school for many years. Sandi’s spirit was as vibrant as her passions. She loved to travel, bake, cook, write letters, and most of all, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was very thoughtful and kind to everyone and had a very giving heart, she loved to put a smile of everyone’s face. Sandi’s memory will forever live on in everyone’s heart of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A celebration of Life Service will be on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Crossroad Community Church, 20684 State Forest Rd, Georgetown, DE. Family greetings will be at 12:00pm, followed by a service at 1:00pm.
