Scott B. Wright

Scott B. Wright, 54 of Milford, Delaware, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Scott was born in Corydon, Iowa on December 6, 1968, to parent Patricia J. (Curtis) Schultz, Chariton, Iowa and Larry Dean Wright of Townsend, Montana. He was the loving husband of 26 years to Mia (Shepherd) Wright and proud father to Sydney Paige and Nickolas Ryan Wright.

Scott is survived by sisters Jennifer Moody, Jeanette Wright, and Lori Hale all of Iowa. He has a very large family that will miss him dearly. Scott is proceeded in death by fathers Orville (Bud) Wright and Leslie Fitzwilliam and his beloved Grandma (Delores) and Grandpa (Paul) Curtis.

Scott was a veteran of the US Air Force and served his country during Desert Storm. He then went on to a career in banking for close to 25 years at M & T Bank. Scott had a passion for boating, crabbing, fishing, and playing cards. His most treasured time was spent with family and friends and watching his twins grow to be strong and amazing adults.

A time of visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front Street, Milford, Delaware on Monday, February 27, 2023. He will then go home to Humeston, Iowa for his final resting place with services held in Chariton, Iowa.
