Sharon Lee Mcquay

Sharon Lee McQuay, 70, of Georgetown, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Beebe Hospital after a long illness. Sharon was born to the late Curtis Trump III and Dolores (Veasey) Trump in Wilmington on April 14, 1954.

A true Delaware native, Sharon spent her life enjoying the beauty of Delaware, as she has lived in most parts of it. She will be most remembered by the love she shared. She had the heart of a giving and generous person. Whether you were family or a stranger, Sharon was willing to help in any way she could, especially her beloved cats and the animals who she was able to help throughout her life. Her playful spirit and silliness encouraged laughter among those around her. Above all, she loved her family; and that love was evident to all who met her.

In addition to her parents, Sharon is preceded in death by three siblings: Curtis Trump IV, William Trump, and Jeffery Trump.

She is survived by her two children; Melissa B. McQuay, Mathew A. McQuay, sister; Connie Trump, sister-in-law; Rebecca Trump, nieces and nephews; Monica Bennett (Christopher), Mark Brown (Robin Burns), Curtis Trump V (Jessica), Justin Trump (Erica), Ciara Trump, Rachel Trump, Nathan Trump. She deeply loved William Zachery Logan, Wren Amberle Kuhns and Frank Murphy.

Per Sharon’s wishes there will not be a service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sharon McQuay’s honor to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Shriners Hospital for Children or any no kill animal facility.
