Shirley D. (Pratt) Conaway, 63

GEORGETOWN – Shirley D. (Pratt) Conaway passed away at home on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

She was born April 29, 1961, in Denver, Colorado to parents Opal Giles and James Pratt, Sr.

She is remembered by her daughters Jessica Baker and Tarah McHugh; her longtime boyfriend, Nutter David Marvel III; as well as her brothers, James Pratt Jr., and Steven Pratt; and sister, Barbara Passwaters.

Shirley loved her children, seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren unconditionally. Her favorite place was the beach and she had fondness for all animals. She brought joy into our lives and will surely be missed.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, Del 19947, where a time of visitation for family and friends will begin at 5:00pm. Pastor John Marvel will officiate.
