Milton—Shirley F. Panuska-Carter passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the Milford Center, Milford, DE.

Shirley was born on May 19, 1938, to her parents, Frank J. Jr., and Hulda T. (Reed) Panuska in Milford, DE.

She was employed at Draper King Cole in Milton, DE for many years in the labeling department. Shirley retired from Beebe Hospital in Lewes, DE in the registration department. Her favorite hobby was her horses Shasha and Chip, along with many animals through the years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Dallas G. Roach. Shirley is survived by her daughter; Leslie F. Herrington-Leisure, son-in-law; Micheal L. Leisure; grandchildren, Kenny J. Smith of Seaford, DE, Logan A.M. Leisure of Milton, DE, great grandson; Hayden Smith of Seaford, DE and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Milton Odd Fellow’s Cemetery, Milton, DE.
