Ted Newhouse, Sr.

Theodore “Ted” M. Newhouse, Sr., 84, of Milford, passed away quietly in his sleep on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. Ted was born on July 14, 1937 in Granite City, IL to the late Theodore M. and Lottie Newhouse. They later moved to Delaware. Ted was a proud member of the Delaware Army National Guard and was deployed in the Storm of ’62. He worked for Wilkins Fuel Company in Milford, DE for 51 years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Edna Evans. Ted is survived by his lovely wife, Edna (Chandler) Newhouse of 60 years; his sons, Theodore M. Newhouse, Jr., Scott C. Newhouse (Kim L.); his sister, Winona Warren; his grandchildren, Robert Newhouse, Dawn Newhouse Bawel (Keith), and Scotty Newhouse; and his great grandchildren, Hailey Bawel and Allena Bawel. Services are private. Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
