Teresa A. Robinson

Teresa A. Robinson passed away peacefully at her home in Georgetown, DE on August 14, 2024, at the age of 69. She was surrounded by her family. Teresa was born on November 24, 1954 in Milford DE. She spent her younger years in Redden, DE.


Before her passing, Teresa was preceded by her beloved husband Donald “Duck” Robinson Sr, her parents Frank and Alberta (Marker) Rust, her sister Janet Lee Rust, and her cherished dog Brownie. She was also preceded by sister-in-laws Carol Evans and Connie Pettyjohn, and brothers-in-law Eddie Karr, C.R. Robinson, Booboo Robinson, and Lou Davis.


Teresa’s legacy continues through her adoring family, including her children Lori Ann Brewington and her husband Hobie, and Donald Robinson Jr. and his wife Carrie. She will be remembered by her sister Pat Davis, her brother Jimmy Rust and his wife Priscilla of Texas. Her sisters- in- law Olive Karr and Kim Robinson, and brothers-in-law Ronnie Robinson and his wife Denise, and Mark Robinson. Her spirit will live on in her treasured grandchildren Mark Williams Jr. (Brianna), Luke Williams, Emma Brewington, Gunner Brewington, Ryder Robinson, Gaige Brewington, Roxie Robinson, and Hunter Brewington, as well as her great-grandchildren Blake and Makenzie Waller, Addison Williams, and Paislee Chandler. Teresa’s memory will also be cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and extended family members who will always remember her love and kindness.


Teresa dedicated 30 years of her life as a bus contractor/school bus driver. Before Teresa got sick, she substituted in the cafeteria for the Indian River School District. Her unwavering commitment to her work was paralleled only by her devotion to her family and the joy she found in her varied interests. A lifetime resident of Delaware, she reveled in the simple pleasures of playing the slots, traveling to Florida, and joining the lively Thursday night dances. She was known for her delicious potato salad at family gatherings.


Above all, Teresa will be remembered as a loving and selfless individual, always placing the needs of others before her own. Her kind heart and nurturing nature extended beyond her immediate family to all who knew her.


In every smile shared, in every memory cherished, Teresa’s loving spirit will continue to enrich the lives she touched. Her example of selflessness and kindness remains a testament to a life well lived, full of love and joy, Teresa A. Robinson will be dearly missed, but her beautiful legacy will endure in the hearts and minds of her adoring family.
