Tracie Nicole (Stuchlik) von Arx, 42
Delmar, Delaware (formerly of Milton) – Tracie Nicole (Stuchlik) von Arx passed away at home on Thursday, March 13, 2025.
Tracie was born in Lewes and lived the large part of her childhood in Milton’s Cave Colony community. She attended school in the Cape Henlopen School District until a family move to Millsboro, and later Georgetown. Tracie graduated from Sussex Central High School with the Class of 2000, and continued her education at Goldey-Beacom College where she graduated in 2004 with her bachelor’s degree in human resources. She most recently worked as a human resources specialist at Boscov’s in Salisbury.
Tracie loved being active. In high school, she played field hockey and soccer, of the two soccer was her favorite. She was the first female soccer player from Sussex Central to start on a college level varsity soccer team; an accomplishment she was very proud of. Never one to be still, she enjoyed shooting clays, hunting, being on the water, relaxing on the drive-on beach, cooking, and scrapbooking. Tracie enjoyed making her house a home, especially keeping it clean and decorating for each season.
Tracie’s greatest joy was her family and those she considered family. She was a beacon of light and was always the one to keep family and friends together. Tracie’s sons were a treasure and she loved being their biggest cheerleader; supporting them on and off the field or wrestling mat was a priority. She remained close to her childhood neighbors and loved supporting her brother from another mother, Jimmie Allen.
She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Charles, III and Llywella Stuchlik; maternal grandfather, Thomas M. Brounce; uncles, Jim Welsh, Tommy Brounce, and Gary Brounce; aunts, Barbara Cochran and Kelly Stuchlik.
Tracie is survived by her two sons, Dominic Succarotte, and Kaden von Arx; mother, Susie Wiedmann and husband Luke; father, Timothy Stuchlik and wife Laurie; two step-sons, Hunter von Arx and Jacob von Arx; maternal grandmother, Fay Brounce; two brothers, Drew Stuchlik and wife Rachael, and their children, Logan and Austin, and Michael Wiedmann and his daughter, Adalynn; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and a host of friends.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm on Monday, March 24, 2025, at the Oak Orchard Fire Hall, 32628 Oak Orchard Rd, Millsboro DE 19966, where a celebration of Tracie’s life will begin at Noon. A luncheon for family and friends will immediately follow.
