Virginia L. Brittingham

Virginia L. Brittingham, 68, of Milton, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Sunday, April 25, 2021. Born to the late Manford and Grace (Willey) Short, Virginia was born in Milford. She was a lifetime resident of Milton. She was involved in the Ladies’ Auxiliary of the Milton VFW Post 6984. She loved to work through word puzzles and crochet, and loved TV classics like The Andy Griffith Show. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Tracey Short-Karr of Lincoln; her grandson, Garett Short of Lincoln; her sister, Gloria Rust of Harbeson; and her brother, Harry Short and his wife, Cathy, of Milton. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Milton VFW Post 6984, 1000 Atlantic Ave., Milton, DE 19968. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, space will be limited.
