Virginia Lee Lynch

GREENWOOD - Virginia Lee Lynch was born August 3, 1942, in Cambridge, MD to the late Harry and Marion Jackson. She gained her angel wings on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Virginia was 79. She was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Virginia worked side by side with her late husband, Richard William Lynch, Sr., to build their business. Her greatest accomplishments were being a great wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved everyone with her big smile and infectious laugh that could turn your day around. Virginia enjoyed gardening every summer, working in her yard, and enjoyed spending time at the senior center in Greenwood, DE with many friends playing cards, bingo, or social gatherings. She loved to travel and spend time with family. In addition to her husband, she was preceded by her son, Keith Allen Lynch. Virginia is survived by her son, Richard William Lynch, Jr of Greenwood, DE; daughter, Laurie Kathleen Richardson and husband, David, of White House, TN; grandchildren, Mark Allen Richardson and wife, Aubrey, Hilary Erin Richardson, Daniel Lee Richardson and wife, Katie, and Charlene Lynne Dalious and husband, Lee; great-grandson, Owen Dean McAlister; great-granddaughters, Brandi Keylia Dalious and Brie Lynne Dalious; with the newest addition of a great-great-granddaughter, Alyson Grace Ramsey. Virginia is one of eleven children, survived by sisters, Judi Breazile, Lucy Hagadorn and Betsy Schwartz. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford on Friday, September 24, 2021, at 1 pm. A time of visitation will begin at 12 noon. Interment will be held at Milford Community Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Greenwood Cheer Center, 41 Schultze Rd., Greenwood, DE 19950.
