Wayne Short

LEWES – Wayne Short, 69, passed away at Beebe Heathcare in Lewes on Saturday, June 12, 2021. He was born to the late Emory and Onolee Donovan Short on August 20, 1951. Wayne worked as a cosmetologist at Carolyn’s Beauty Shop in Lewes. After Carolyn passed, Wayne owned and operated the shop. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Wayne is survived by his sister, Irene Dickerson, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 7 pm, with a time of visitation starting at 6 pm. Interment will be private.
