Wesley Wade Greenley passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at his care provider, James Baynard’s home in Lincoln, DE. He was 59. Wesley was born on February 16, 1962, in Dover, son of the late William and Louise Killen Greenley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his sisters, Wanda Mae O'Day, Bonita Fay Tribbett and Virgie Lou Greenley; his brothers, Victor Smith Greenley, Robert Greenley; half-brother, William Greenley, Jr.; and care provider, Barbara A. Little. Wesley is survived by his siblings, Joe Greenley and sister-in-law, Gail of Lincoln, Edie Davis and brother-in-law, Steve of Jackson, Mo., Brenda Kay Stevens and brother-in-law, Dennis of Dover, Lillian Korell and brother-in-law, Larry of Camden, Ronnie Hoennicke, Kenny George, and his wife, Rose; and his care provider family, James Sr., James Jr., and Kelan Baynard. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 217 Main St., Felton, DE followed by funeral service and burial at Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery in Frederica. Jeans or casual clothing welcomed. All attending will be asked to follow masking guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for indoor and outdoor activities. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Special Olympics Delaware are encouraged at www.sode.org
