Obituary for William A. Hurd William A. Hurd, 93, passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2022. He was born in Viola, Delaware on July 27, 1928 to the late Arthur and Anna (Smith) Hurd. William served his county in the United States Army during the Korean War in the 4th Infantry Division. He was employed with Playtex for 46 years and also enjoyed farming for many years. He survived by his brother, James W. Hurd. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery.
