In loving memory of William Joseph “Bill Stratton. Loving son, brother, faithful husband, patient father and grandfather, and loyal friend.

Born to Sally and Carl Stratton, October 18, 1955, Bill grew up in tough times. Learning at an early age the value of perseverance and diligence, Bill made career out of hard work, finally retiring in 2012. Growing up in the 60’s, Bill developed a love for music, especially The Beatles. Other than his cherished family, music was the centering joy in his life. The love of music allowed him to become a self-taught musician. He played bass guitar in a local band with is brother, Jack, for many years, culminating in their performance at the Grand Ole Opry! In 1983, he married the love of his life, Judy (nee Leyanna) and together they had five children, Tara, Matt, Jon, Brooke, and Andrew (Crystal).

He is survived by them, twelve grandchildren, one great grandchild, siblings: John, Carla, Robert and Carl, Jr., and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill was preceded in his death by his parents Carl and Sally and his son, Billy Joe.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Milford Moose Lodge, Beaver Dam Road, Milford, DE on Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
