William Edward Sharpe

William Edward Sharpe, 69, passed away at his home in Milford, DE on September 9, 2024.

William was born on August 22, 1955, to his parents, George Francis and Margaret Agnes (Sweeney) Sharpe.

He was employed as a drywall contractor and was mechanically inclined. William loved fishing, boating, automobiles, but most of all loved spending time with his son. He had a magnetic personality.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Woodrow Sharpe and George F. Sharpe, III.

He survived by his son, William Joseph Sharpe; mother of his son, Debra Sharpe; siblings, Margaret Alice Rust, James Thomas Sharpe, Aaron Joseph Sharpe, and Adrian Joseph Sharpe; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 2:00pm in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front Street, Milford, DE with a time of visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
