William Martin Tracy, Ii

William Martin Tracy, II, passed away at his home in Dover, DE, on November 20, 2024, at the age of 82. Born on November 6, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA, he was the beloved husband of Jo Ellen Tracy, with whom he shared 61 years of loving marriage.

William, affectionately known as Bill, lived a full life marked by a devotion to his family and a successful career in information technology. He was a graduate of Salisbury University in Maryland, where he earned his bachelor's degree. His professional life was most recently spent at Coldwater Seafood in Cambridge, MD, where he applied his skills in IT and data processing to make impactful contributions.

Though he achieved much in his career, William was a family man at heart. He is predeceased by his parents, William M. Tracy Sr., Lillian Belle Tracy, his stepparents, Taylor and Helen Pierce, and his cherished son Jeff Tracy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jo Ellen, his son William M. Tracy III (married to Corinne Albanese), and his siblings, John B. Tracy and Leslie Pierce. William was a proud grandfather to Ashlee Sims, Justin Edwards, Sarah Rose Tracy, William M. Tracy IV, Maddison Ashley Tracy, and Jessica Lynn Tracy; and also had six great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life to honor Bill will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 12:00pm at Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St. Milford, DE 19963. A time of visitation for friends and family will be held for one hour prior beginning at 11:00am. Interment is private.
