William R. Hall, Jr.

William (Bill) R. Hall Jr, 79, died October 6th, 2022, at his home in Georgetown. Dr. Hall was born in Ridley Park, PA to Edna K. Hall and William R Hall.

He received his bachelor’s from Bloomsburg University, his Master’s from University of Pacific and his Doctorate from the University of Delaware. Dr. Hall, work for the University of Delaware - College of Earth, Ocean and Environment in Lewes, Delaware as a Sea Grant Agent for 30+ years. He is survived by his wife Penney and two sons William and Wyatt. He was involved in several educational organizations, Delaware Teachers of Science, Science Olympiad and Sussex County Science Fair as well as a member of Franklin Lodge No. 12 A.F & A.M. Dr. Hall helped to organize the Delaware Horseshoe Crab Survey, where he did this for over 40 years.

No funeral or services are immediately planned.  The family will notify family and friends when a Celebration of Life will be scheduled.
