William "Winnie" Hall

William “Winnie” Hall, 85, of Frederica, passed away at his home on Saturday, April 16, 2022. Winnie was born to the late George W. and Mary E. (Martin) Hall on October 9, 1936 in Milford, Delaware. Winnie was heavily involved in Bowers Beach as a waterman. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his soulmate of 40 years, Linda Gulyas Carmine; his step-children, Keith and Kip Carmean; and his two sisters, Dorothy Hall and Irene Harvey. Winnie is survived by his in-laws, Catherine and David Joiner, Diana and Dennis, Elizabeth Mullinex, and Mike Gulyas; several nieces and nephews; and very dear friends and caregivers, Vernon Giuttari and Lynn Hangstefer, who were his guardian angels. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 25, 2022, at noon at Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St. Milford, DE 19963. A time of visitation will begin at 11. Interment will follow at Barratt’s Chapel Cemetery.
