YARA JESHI HAZZARD

MILTON – Yara Jeshi Hazzard was born on July 20, 2023, to Tyshi O. Hazzard, and Jessica L. Griffin. She came into this world extremely early and departed this world in the eyes of many on September 9, 2023, at 3:07am. Nonetheless, she still made her mark. She was feisty, beautiful, strong, stubborn, a butterfly, a summer breeze but most of all, she was a fighter. Gone but surely never forgotten. May Allah have mercy on her soul.

Yara was a light that came to her mother and father at a time she felt was most important in their lives. She filled her parents with positivity, love, and faith. Although Yara’s time with us was brief, she planted a strong message; to keep the people that you love close to you because family is everything.

She is preceded in death by two great-grandmothers, Ada Mae Waples, and Ida Mae Adams; and her aunt, Ra’Jein Harmon.

She is survived by her parents, Tyshi and Jessica; her siblings, Tyshi Hazzard, Jr., Jakari Hazzard, Jaelynn Griffin, Jamarr Thomas, Jr., TerriAna Slayton, and Tyre Maull; her paternal grandparents, Zellus Caesar and Sylvia Hazzard; her paternal great-grandmother, Gwendolyn Harris; her maternal grandparents, Derrick Butler and Sharon Griffin-Harmon; her maternal great-grandmother, Irma Jean Owns; her aunts and uncles, Zelvin Caesar, Mellisa Caesar, Zaneta Caesar, Curtis Caesar, Jr., David Harris, Nicole Harris, Roland Harris, Corey Harris, Kisha Hazzard, Rochelle Hazzard, Keshawna Hazzard, Brittany Hazzard, Carol Hazzard, Lydell Harris, Ann Harris, Evette Harris, Latoya Cook, Bernadette Goodman, and Tonya Brown; and other loved ones.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2023, at Union Cemetery in Georgetown, Delaware at 11:30am.
